GeoGems is a series of game developed by Foveal Technologies to teach Indian Culture and Indian Geography. Tech Savvy people can us this application to learn in a visually appealing, practical and fun way. Main purpose of these games is Entertainment and Learning. "GeoGems: States of India gives clues in the form of State name and its Capital and user has to mark this state on Map. Performance is judged on two parameters. First is number of attempts for marking all states correctly and second is the time taken. Player can take hints to know the quadrant of required state on Map. Separate screen is provided to keep track of the top ten performances are stored on scores pages. Facility to wipe out all records is provided in the game. This game is especially useful for Education purposes in schools. It can be used in single application mode so that Teacher can give test to students. Students will not be able to cheat. Students can also be engaged to learn and practice different maps at any time at there own pace.
